Warranty & Repair Policy

Our warranty policy enables you to be protected in the event that there are any flaws in the material, design, or workmanship of a product you’ve purchased. We are here to help you. You may view the applicable warranty period for each product specified in the respective product descriptions.

Warranty Period:

We provide a 1-year warranty on all products sold on our website (unless mentioned otherwise in the description of the product) from the original date of purchase printed on your invoice. This warranty only covers products sold in U.A.E.

Our warranty does not cover the following:

  • Defects or damage in products due to misuse or non-abidance by the instructions for use.
  • If the product is dropped or exposed to any water or other liquid, even if the product is labelled as waterproof/water resistant.
  • If there are visible indicators that an unauthorized service centre has opened the product's body to repair it.
  • Any damage to the cover due to excessive wear and tear or improper ventilation or any other unusual elements.
  • Any damage due to the use of malware.

How to obtain a warranty service?

Step 1: If you face any issue with your product, you may send us an email at info@plattino.ae along with your order number and the problem you are facing with your product.

For orders placed in Dubai:

Step 2: As soon as we receive your mail, we will arrange a pick-up service from your address- free of cost.

For orders placed outside Dubai:

Step 2: As soon as we receive your mail, we will provide you with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and the address of the authorized service centre.

Note: We request you to send the entire defective product with all the accessories including the original box. Missing items may cause the failure of the warranty procedure.

Time taken to repair the product:

Once we receive the product, we will inspect and analyse its issues. Once the issue is checked, if it is covered under warranty, our authorized service provider will need a minimum of 5 days to repair the product, it may extend to a further 14 days or more, depending on the fault in the product. We will inform you of the time needed to service your product once we have it back in our service facility.

Warranty Transfer:

This limited warranty extends only to you and is not transferable or assignable to any subsequent purchaser. The warranty will be only applicable in the country of purchase i.e. UAE.

Cost of Repair:

  • If your product is covered under the warranty provided and in accordance with our warranty policies, then your item will be repaired free of cost.
  • If your item has unrepairable issues but is still covered under the warranty, will provide you with a replacement unit - if a replacement isn’t available, we will refund you in full amount.
  • In case your product is not covered under warranty or is not in accordance with our warranty policies, you will be contacted by our service provider to inform you of the issues of your product and the repair fees, if the repair is possible.

Note: We DO NOT provide delivery of the repaired products. The customer will have to come and collect their product from the respective service center.

Manufacturer’s Warranty:

Please refer to the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions for products that are under manufacturer warranty coverage. Clients need to contact the manufacturer service centre directly to get the warranty service for the products that are under 1-year manufacturer warranty.
